Story details
- The story ID is recorded on the story-specific paper consent form.
- The explaining staff member and date are recorded on the story-specific paper consent form.
- The plain-language explanation given to the person is attached to the story-specific paper consent form.
1. Collection and use
- Purposes: identity and fact checks, contact, approved-publication drafting, and withdrawal handling.
- Items: application text, contact details, relationship, age group, and evidence specifically listed on the story-specific paper consent form.
- Retention: unverified tips are destroyed after 30 days. Verified or published originals and consent records are kept until consent is withdrawn or the purpose is complete, unless law requires a separate period.
- You may refuse, but verification or publication cannot proceed.

2. Separate sensitive-data consent
- Health, disability, disease, victimization, or other sensitive data is listed specifically on the story-specific paper consent form.
- Consent to submit sensitive data is separate from consent to publish a diagnosis or condition.

3. Publication media and period
- The final text is attached to the story-specific paper consent form. Phase 1 does not accept photos, video, or audio.
- Everlink web is the default medium. Social media, advertising, and any other medium each require a separate choice.
- The publication and reuse start and end dates are recorded on the story-specific paper consent form. A changed purpose, medium, or period is checked again.
- The person reviews the final text before publication.

4. External AI, processing, and overseas transfer
- Original personal or sensitive data is not sent directly to external generative AI. Choose separately whether a de-identified copy may be used for writing assistance.
- Original personal and sensitive data is not currently transferred to an external AI provider. Before a de-identified copy is used, the provider, purpose, data, country, timing, method, and retention period will be disclosed for a separate choice.
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States) provides web hosting and D1 database operations. Databases use Asia-Pacific data centers and pages use the global delivery network; transfer occurs over the network when the service is used, and retention follows the Privacy Policy. Contact: privacyquestions@cloudflare.com. Refusal means the service cannot be used.

5. Withdrawal and later handling
- Request withdrawal at classicmate@classicmate.app with the story ID. Receipt and results are recorded.
- We stop new posts, advertising, and reuse on channels we control and request cache removal.
- We cannot promise retrieval of every printed, saved, or shared copy.
6. Children and teenagers
- Under 14: verify legal-guardian consent, explain in plain language, and do not publish over the child’s objection.
- Ages 14 through 17: consent from both the person and a guardian is the default.
- The identity and guardian verification method and verifier are recorded on the story-specific paper consent form.
7. Final confirmation
- The approved final text version is attached to the story-specific paper consent form. Phase 1 does not accept images.
- The person’s signature and date and the guardian’s signature and date are recorded on the story-specific paper consent form.
- Link the consent version and publication or withdrawal history to the story record.
